MEMBERS KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

In keeping with our effort to retain exclusivity of RCYC, especially pertaining to WEDNESDAY NIGHT SAILING, the following points from our constitution should be noted:

3.12.2
Temporary members, shall consist of persons participating in a regatta or function organized or hosted by the Club.

12.2
A member introducing his guest shall enter his or her name in a Visitor's book provided for that purpose, on entering Club premises.

12.3
Every member shall be responsible for the conduct of the guests introduced by him while on Club premises and liable for any damage caused by such guest.

12.4
Only members of the club, including bona fide reciprocity members, are permitted to pay for any liquor or refreshments supplied therein.

The following Bye-laws should also be noted:

Signing In - No Guest may be signed in more than 6 (six) occasions in any continuous 12 month period.

Identification - Club Members shall present their membership cards to any staff member, committee member or security officer upon request whilst on the club premises. Guests shall upon request identify themselves and their host.

In short, if you intend having guests join you on your boat for a Wednesday evening sail, or any other evening just for a drink, you will be required to personally meet and sign them in prior to security permitting them entry to RCYC. No non members will be permitted to gain entry to RCYC without being signed in.
