Living a dream! This 36 year old Dutch girl has been travelling Africa for the past 8 months in order to shorten the bucket list. Now it's time to go back home, but still one dream has to be realised: To sail back home! I know I'm still a rookie at sailing, but am willing to learn and work for it. In preparation to this coming sailing experience I successfully completed my Competence Crew and STCW!95 course. Who is sailing to Europe/Caribbean in the next coming weeks and is willing to take me along for free as a crew member and teach me? January 2012

I would welcome some retired embers of RCYC who would like to sail now and then during the week on nice days. I have become a bit ancient now and take a bit of strain when sailing alone. I would prefer someone who knows a little bit about sailing. My vessel is a Muira, in pretty good shape and easy to sail. I hold a Yacht master offshore ticket, so I am reasonably competent to take people out into the bay. Jan 2012

Our yacht has over-wintered in the new Alanya Marina in South East Turkey and we highly recommend the marina to cruisers in the eastern Med. The facilities are all brand new, the staff are competent & friendly and the rates favourable.
